Up for auction is my 1997 Mercedes SL 320 Roadster. This vehicle was originally purchased in New Jersey and includes the actual window sticker that shows original selling price over $84,000. This vehicle is in very good condition and with only 74,000 miles on it has plenty of life left in it. We just recently purchased for our daughter, however she does not like it. In the short time we have owned it, we put new brakes and rotors all the way around including the wear sensors, engine valve cover gasket was replaced and fresh oil change. The previous owner put on 19 inch staggered wheels on with brand new Rubber. The only issue with the car is a few scratches along the lower part of the front Cowl and driver side bumper which can easily be repaired. The windshield has a crack in it and I am waiting on a new windshield for it. The rear view mirror is kind of loose, unknown if I can tighten it up. The vehicle is going in for professional rustproofing this weekend since it has the potential for staying in Michigan. The car drives wonderful and has a lot of pickup. The larger wheels and spacers do cause a little vibration that perhaps a good balancing can take care of or someone can go back down to the original 16 inch wheels. My mechanic has checked the vehicle out top to bottom and has addressed any issues that were present. Everything is tight underneath and she shifts very well with no known issues. This vehicle is being listed for auction with no warranties implied or stated. Nice car, garaged kept,well maintained Mercedes SL500 with low miles only 57k miles. New Bridgestone tires, all power options work including the top. No check engine light no leaks and cold ac.
